| The schooner Meyric was the largest sailing vessel to
leave William Thomas's yard. She was launched on 4/1/1904. She sailed to
Rio Grande South America on her maiden voyage with Robert Griffiths of Ael
Eilian, Amlwch as her master. In 1909 Captain William William was in
charge of the Meyric. During the first world war she was used a decoy "Q" ship. |
