Sail making
Sail makers were an essential part of the ship
building business which had built up in Amlwch port. The "sail soft"
building is still in Amlwch port and is used as a heritage centre by
Amlwch Industrial Heritage Trust.

Like all trades the sailmakers had their own set of terms used in
the business many of which are now lost or forgotten.
